Interview with Phil Tardani (interviewee) / by Jose Alonso (interviewer) 1992 Jul 14.

Tardini recounts his experience at JPL with guidance and the Deep Space Network (DSN), starting in 1952 radar tracking Corporal at White Sands and continuing with early rockets including Explorer 1. In 1958 he researched antenna locations, establishing a station in Spain, where he lived off and on for 14 years. He worked at JPL during the 70's as DSN Manager for Operations.
